An updated version of Eating Cultures was screened on April 24th, 2013 at the University of Roehampton’s Centre for Research in Film and Audiovisual Cultures (CRFAC) in London. Feedback from the screening was then taken into account and minor revisions subsequently made before it was submitted in September 2013 for examination as part of the PhD thesis project. Feedback from the successful PhD examination in December 2013 was also taken into account and minor changes made for the final thesis submission.
On November 15th, 2014, the film was screened at the Being Human: A Festival of the Humanities, Memory Banquet: Food and Acts of Remembering symposium in London followed by a screening on November 25th, 2014 at the Sightlines: Filmmaking in the Academy conference and festival at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Eating Cultures was included in the Screening Bar at the Days of Ethnographic Film Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia in March 2015 and it was screened at Ethnografilm in Paris, France in April 2016.
